Popis pracovnej pozície
The position is based in Slovak Republic. Applicants must have a place of work in Slovakia.
What to expect:
– Modifying/development of IaC (Infrastructure as Code) in Terraform on AWS
– Modifying/development of CI/CD pipelines in GitLabCI (yml)
– Development and operations of cloud projects based on containers, Lambda and other AWS services (secrets, storage, network…)
– Incident & problem management as part of cross functional Scrum team
– Development and operations of monitoring/alerting solutions
– Cooperation/learning from/ other DevOps Engineers on common code and solutions
– Python and Bash scripting

We expect:
– Knowledge and experience with AWS (basic level)
– Knowledge and experience with Linux container technologies (basic level)
– Knowledge of version control Git (basic level)
– Knowledge of infrastructure provisioning as code (IaC) Terraform is advantage
– Experience of creating pipelines GitLabCI is advantage
– Will to learn new concepts/things and share it with the team
– Team Player mentality: We can count on you
– Proactive mindset
– Fluent communication in English
– Cross-disciplinary/JAVA is warmly welcomed
Nice to have:
– Knowledge/administration GitLab
– Experience with system monitoring/logging/tracing/alerting/metrics & creation of dashboards (Dynatrace, Splunk, SonarCube)
